Bio

I'm from a small town in the Pacific Northwest famous for it's iconic log show.  My family is still there, and I still spend much time there.

I never knew I had a "thing" until I found ceramics.  Then it stopped me dead in my tracks, and that's all I've wanted to do ever since.  I am lucky to have had some of the most patient, honest and inspiring teachers along the way.  I continue to learn and for the past several years, I have been teaching wheel throwing here in Portland Oregon.  I love teaching, it provides me with new challenges and insight into my own practice.

In 2019 we welcomed into the world a healthy, happy baby Henry who got to drool on and bounce around with a few family and friends before the world suddenly changed.  I am lucky to have my studio at home to spend time with my family.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
